JC Hurtado-Prater, affectionately known as "Prof JC," serves as an Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Leadership at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA where he instructs both undergraduate and graduate business and leadership students. In addition to his role educating future marketplace leaders, JC is the Principal for StoneRock, an organization committed to human, organizational and societal flourishing and a Senior Leadership Consultant for Zoe Training & Consulting, a Denver-based leadership and professional development consulting firm specializing in governmental agencies and commercial organizations.

JC, a veteran of the United States Army, specializes in training and consulting medium to large teams on issues such as organizational culture, high-performance coaching, emotional awareness and leadership effectiveness.
